We are investing in your relaxation.
For 50 years, the EGGENSBERGER has been your destination for natural relaxation overlooking Lake Hopfensee. To ensure we can continue to offer you the highest level of comfort, even greater enjoyment and a special holiday experience in the future, we are investing in our largest construction project to date.
From 15 September 2026 until, we expect, the end of March 2027, our organic hotel in the Allgäu will be closed for extensive refurbishment work. During this time, we will be expanding and modernising our kitchen as well as numerous service and ancillary areas, whilst also introducing many other new features that you can already look forward to.
Good to Know
The EGGENSBERGER Therapy Center, including the medical practice, will remain open throughout the entire closure period.
Outpatient rehabilitation, outpatient spa treatments in Hopfen am See or at the Kneipp Spa in Füssen, and treatments such as physical therapy and medical exercise therapy are available.

Here’s what you can look forward to

A warm welcome: a new, central entrance area with a modern reception and an inviting lobby.

Take a seat and enjoy: a spacious buffet and bar area where you can relax and linger.

Feel at home in this cosy retreat: a number of fully modernised existing rooms, as well as six additional new rooms and suites.
- A little closer to the sky: a heated rooftop hot tub with a unique panoramic view.
- Arrive and relax: new wellness facilities such as a saltwater infrared relaxation room, a clay and herbal sauna, and a Finnish sauna with an automatic steam infusion.

A seamless whole: a redesigned exterior façade with partially shaded balconies, creating a more comfortable living environment and a harmonious overall appearance.
