So that everyone can find what they want in their family vacation in Füssen, at the Biohotel Eggensberger there are small place for everyone to use as a retreat. At the garden spa the upper wellness area is open to children from 16 years. Here you will find a bio sauna, steam room, tea lounge and mountain view relaxation room. The lower level with the Finnish sauna and the ‘Quiet Room’ is reserved for adults. Younger children are also allowed to splash around in the natural pool and swimming in the Indoor Swimming Pool under the supervision of an accompanying adult.

And with the Füssen Card many of them are even free or give discounts.
On the meadow next to the restaurant terrace there is a slide ready for exercise sessions.

- Hohenschwangau - Worth seeing not just because of the Royal castles ; there is also a lot to marvel at in the Museum of the Bavarian Kings . Ask about the guided tours for children.
- The Forest Adventure Centre in Füssen-Ziegelwies with its Alluvial Forest Adventure Trail and Treetop walkway. an apiary, a snack bar and an area with the interesting permanent exhibition “My forest” to experience with all your senses. Right next door you can explore the impressive Lech Falls with Maxsteg.
- Füssen for little explorers - the High Castle with a picture gallery and a great view over Füssen, then explore the historic arboretum and look for pebbles on the Lech riverbank. The violin maker’s workshop in the Museum of the City of Füssen is worth seeing or else the Reptile Zoo on the Lech riverbank.

Skate and Bike Park
The complex, which is 2,000 m2 in size, is the longest of its kind in Germany at a total of 130 m and is suitable both for beginners as well as advanced participants . The central street area with modern elements has different levels to really let off steam on a family vacation in Füssen. This creates the conditions for fast and jump-oriented skating as well as for slower and more technical tricks. It's worth trying it out.
Even if you don't have your own set of wheels with you, it's still fun to watch the others in the Füssen Skate and Bike Parkas they practise daredevil jumps and speedy rides.

Approx. 30 km away is a large indoor playground spread over 3,000 m2 where children can romp around and have fun. There are climbing mountains and towers that want to be conquered and the 10 m high dragon castle provides everything to makes children's hearts beat faster on a family vacation. Families with children, it is also possible to have a winter adventure holiday in the Allgäu region that doesn’t involve skis and snowboards . These families can quite simply grab a sledge or toboggan and glide their way to adventure.
Something that you should definitely experience with children in Füssen in winter is a ride on a horse-drawn sleigh through the snow-covered Alpine landscape, a visit to the royal castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau, a stroll through the romantic old town and the view from the High Castle over the town. Or you can use one of the family-friendly ski areas. There, near the lifts, the local ski schools offer skiing classes for children of all ages.
