At its heart is the largest revolving stage for musicals in Europe: a stage that rotates, rises and lowers – with water basins under the turntable and free-floating stage sets.
The festival theatre was originally built for the musical ‘Ludwig²’ – the fascinating story of the fairy-tale king is still symbolic of this place today. In the meantime, the programme has grown: rousing musicals, impressive concerts and multifaceted events ensure that Füssen has the perfect cultural experience on offer for every taste.
